For this project I created the catalogue for the Deutsche Werkbund’s Weissenhof exhibition from Stuttgart 1927. The Weissenhof exhibition featured houses by famous Modernist designers and architects such as Gropius and Le Corbusier and was revolutionary for its time. However, I focused on how problematic and impractical the housing estate was. The houses had corridors just 60 cm wide and the bedrooms had bidets. Yes, bidets. The catalogue takes on the persona of a fridge instruction book manual and breaks typical modernists ‘rules’.
